Cooked all day, low and slow in grandma's kitchen! Just kidding, we obtained all that same flavor in just 2 hrs.
In a large stock pot drizzled with Olive oil, saute onion and garlic until translucent.
Add the tomatoes and tomato paste. Bring to a boil. Stirring constantly. Once the paste is completely mixed in, reduce to simmer.
Stir in fresh herbs, seasonings and Parmesan. Allow to simmer while preparing the meatballs.
Preheat a large skillet drizzled with Olive oil, over medium high heat.
In a bowl, mix together all meatball ingredients until well combined.
Roll into 3-4 " meatballs. Add all meatballs to the skillet. Sear each, cook for about 5 minutes. Add to sauce.
Cover and simmer for one hour. Stirring occasionally.
Serve with pasta or eat with bread right out of a bowl!
